Custom Exhibit Enclosures by Thirteen Serpents
Thirteen Serpents is proud to have partnered with the Buttonwood Park Zoo in New Bedford, Massachusetts to design and build a complete series of custom PVC enclosures for their new reptile and small mammal exhibits.
We engineered and handcrafted a variety of habitats to meet the specific needs of the zoo’s diverse collection — from geckos, snakes, a Prehensile-Tailed Skink named Kosolo, and a stunning Argentine Black and White Tegu, Frankie. We also created open-top tortoise tables for multiple species, including Russian Tortoises, Pancake Tortoises, and the critically endangered McCord’s Box Turtle.
Beyond reptiles, the zoo’s hedgehogs and tenrecs were also given upgraded Thirteen Serpents PVC habitats — combining functionality, durability, and a clean aesthetic to enhance animal welfare and keeper efficiency.
This collaboration showcases our commitment to producing high quality enclosures built for both private collectors and professional institutions.
